  • 1.  IMC 7.2 Reports - Error adding a Custom Reprt Template

    Hi,

    I'm trying to utilise the IMC reporting, and according to the documentation, I pretty much need to create custom templates for myself.

    So, I tried....

    In Reports - Custom Report - Report Template List I click on Add, and priovide the template name, and click on Next.

    And then I get the following error message: "The system does not include the valid data set components. To add custom report template,  install teh component first."

    Dpes amyone have any idea what this means? Googling does not provide any insight, nor do the IMC documentation.

    I believe you need a license for custom reporting - http://www8.hp.com/us/en/products/network-management/product-detail.html?oid=5061721

    Do you have that installed?

    Hi, Lindsay

    Thanks, I was afraid it was something like that.

    I don't have this licensed, nor installed.  And unfortunately it wasn't mentioned in the Admin guide that this is a separately licensed feature.

    Oh well, I guess I have to start digging for pricing info, and then make hard decisions.
