  • 1.  IMC 7.3 hh3cPeriodicalTrap Warning

    Good morning everyone,
    i have a problem with my IMC.
    I keep getting warnings from all FlexNetwork and FlexFabric switches that I have configured.

    The warning is:
    iMC alarm system has received 100 alarms about the event (hh3cPeriodicalTrap) of device <switch name> (<switch IP>) from 2021-07-23 10:11:53 to 2021-07-23 11:51:53.

    this is the SNMP configuration I have on my devices:

    snmp-agent
    snmp-agent local-engineid 800063A280B8AF67A8FDCF00000001
    snmp-agent community write private
    snmp-agent community read public
    snmp-agent sys-info contact "my email"
    snmp-agent sys-info location "CED CCI AND CORDIS"
    snmp-agent sys-info version all
    snmp-agent target-host trap address udp-domain 10.0.0.7 params securityname public v2c
    snmp-agent mib-view included lldpLocChassisIdSubtype lldpLocChassisIdSubtype
    snmp-agent mib-view included lldpLocalSystemData lldpLocalSystemData
    snmp-agent trap enable arp
    snmp-agent trap enable radius
    snmp-agent trap enable stp
    snmp-agent trap enable syslog

    I cannot understand what the problem may be and how to fix it.
    Can you help me?

    Hello,

    This trap is sent by the devices when no other event has happened within the time period defined with the following command. You should be able to turn it off by setting it to 0:

    snmp-agent trap periodical-interval ?
     <0,10-3600>  Periodical notification sending interval

    Could you please post a screen shot of the whole alarm description that you receive, where we can se hte source , the type the category , cause , parameter etc...

    yes, i saw your post.
    at this moment I am entering the command on my devices and in a few hours I should have feedback.
    I sent the screenshot to Milenkova as I went through the process.
    I think your solution is the winning way
