Thank you Ivaylo.
Other colleagues also confirmed me that even with the E0710P06 (in a production environment) the issue still occur, so I trust on your lab results..
I've seen there is a hotpach (H08) available in our networkingsupport portal, but it doesn't mention, inside the release notes, nothing about the question I'm looking for:
Resolved Problems in IMC PLAT 7.3 (E0710H08)
1. Add adaptation for incomplete configuration backup of ZTE devices.
2. Add support for Aruba device vlan-trunk.
3. HP Procurve 2600 adapter opens CLI function.
4. Fix xml files for all adapters.
5. Add HP Procurve adapter support for login as.
6. Fix the issue of a general error occurring and failing in SFTP server mode.
7. Optimize the logic for handling timed-out devices in jobmgr.
8. Optimize the issue of filename confusion when multiple ICC tasks are performed simultaneously.
Maybe (hoping so) with a future Patch release, P07 or over, this will be corrected..
In the meantime the customers have to patiently wait.
Thanks again for sharing your experience
Best Regards
Luigi

Subject: IMC device monitoring for ArubaOS/ArubaOS-CX stacked switches
Hello Luigi,
I've also came across this behavior of iMC with Aruba CX switches for some time (maybe half a year ago), I also recommend software update. My hope is that other customers have already raised this issue and the development team found a solution for that. Although to be honest, I still see the same behavior in iMC with version 710P06 in the lab. If the update doesn't help I think you need to contact your local sales representative. They have a direct link with the R&D teams for iMC and can fast track this topic. Another option of course is to raise a case for the TAC and they will recommend the same :).
Thank you,
Best Regards,
Ivaylo

Subject: IMC device monitoring for ArubaOS/ArubaOS-CX stacked switches
Hello there. On IMC, when a switch Aruba (AOS or AOS-CX doesn't care) is stacked, the only "Device Monitoring"
index (eg for Real-Time monitoring) you can select is the Commander/Conductor switch.
For the other chassis in the stack I'm not able to monitor CPU and/or RAM.

IMC, anyway, recognize and manage them. Looking inside the "Network Assets" tab the entire stack components is shown.

I also tried to load other SNMP MIB's into IMC (ARUBACX-STACK-MIB, ARUBAWIRED-VSFv2-MIB.. etc) but that's made no difference.
This behaviour is different with Comware switches stacked, inside the "Network Assets" all the chassis are shown the same

But with them it's also possible to choose one specific chassis monitoring.

IMC is running version E0710P04

Does anybody have a tip that could help ? For sure I'm not the only one having this need..
Thank you
Luigi
