Applications running on top of a (general purpose) server should not crash a server (maybe except applications that hook deep into the operating system like security products, but that's not the case for IMC). The Windows Server operating system should protect against that.
I would expect a problem with the server hardware if this happened on Windows Server 2019 and also on Server 2025. Also double-check the system requirements, CPU/memory/disk/iops; especially if the server is virtualized.
