Hey guys,

so i create a new global index 

name : POE-Status

Measurement : Watts

Type : [index1[0]:pethPsePortDetectionStatus:1:0]

Instance Label (Definition OID) : 1.3.6.1.2.1.105.1.1.1.6.1

Formula : 1.3.6.1.2.1.105.1.1.1.6.1

the index is working in the testing phase when creating the index.

but when i plug it in a switch. no information is populating from the switch.

I think something is wrong with the Type field above.

Also i have stack switches, so the POE oid should be able to hit all the switch stack.

Please let me know if you can help me in anyway.

Looks like the type should be  OID_pethPsePortDetectionStatus_0

pethPsePortDetectionStatus.0 : INTEGER
iso(1).org(3).dod(6).internet(1).mgmt(2).mib-2(1).powerEthernetMIB(105).pethObjects(1).pethPsePortTable(1).pethPsePortEntry(1).pethPsePortDetectionStatus(6).0

when you say this, Looks like the type should be  OID_pethPsePortDetectionStatus_0. I am confused. sorry

should the type start like [index1[0]:xxxxxx:1:0]

please let me know how to change the type field. give me an example.

Also what is the differences in the instance label field and the formula field.

Is the monitor added to the device in IMC.
