Import certificate - Aruba3600 controller

    we run an Aruba 3600 controller version 6.1.2.5.

     

    And the certificate for WebUI and Captive Portal has expired, now we wanted to upload a new certificate. However, a CertMgr Error error message appears.

    According to Google research or here in the forum, the restore factory_default certificate command should be executed. We did this, but it didn't change anything.

    A new CSR was created sometime after importing the now expired certificate, but this never led to a new certificate. I understood that the CSR should also be deleted using the restore factory_default certificate command, but this is not the case.

    Is there a chance to fix that so that we can import the new certificate?

    You should run the "restore factory_default" command but create a CSR offline, instead of with the controller.  You could then try to import the new server certificate into the controller.  What procedure did you use to import the last certificate successfully?
