I'm trying to run a report to find out how many Windows 7 endpoints we have on our network. I ran an endpoint report with Device Name = Windows 7 but unfortunately this doesn't return all of the Windows 7 enpoints on our network. It seems that Windows 7 devices may also have the value Device Name = Windows. Am I right to assume that Device Name = Windows would return other versions of Windows (not just Windows 7)?
Or is there another report I can run to find out this information? Ultimately we are looking to block Windows 7 devices from our network as we do at the moment with Windows XP. First though I want to know how many Windows 7 devices we have.
