    Hi All,

Can someone please help me understand why .PFX isnt a supported file type on Aruba instant.

I have recently been told this and im trying to understand why this wouldnt be the case.

If anyone can shed some light on this that would be great!

    Cheers,

    Ben

Don't think there is a specific reason. From the user guide:

Instant supports the following certificate files:

    - Authentication server (PEM format)
    - Captive portal server (PEM format)

    - CA certificate (PEM or DER format)
    - RadSec certificate (PEM or DER format)
    - WebUI certificate (PEM format)

It is trivial to convert PFX into PEM if you search for it on the internet. I would use a solution that runs on your local system like keytool (Mac) or OpenSSL rather than a service on the Internet where you need to upload your key material.

Your Aruba partner or Aruba SE can create a feature request to see if PFX import can be added to the product.
