In Airwave Active/Standby scenario, Can we configure 2 IPs on Aruba WLC for both Aruba Airwave so Aruba WLC can send SNMP traps to both Airwave (Active/Standby) simultaneously ?
In Airwave Active/Standby scenario, SNMP Traps are sent to both Airwave or we can send to Active Airwave ONLY and Active Airwave will replicate all data on Standby Airwave at midnight?
How does Aruba Airwave Active/Standby Failover works?
In the event of Failure when Active Airwave fails and Standby Airwave will act as Active. Is there any automatic preemption mechanism after Primary Airwave comes back to Active or it will be performed manually?
I need to understand traffic flow between "End devices to WLC" and "AP to WLC".
Scenario 1: For Example I create SSID name "TEST123"" and assign "VLAN200" to SSID TEST123. Do I need to create end to end VLAN200 on customer network? (Customer traffic flow is between End devices (Laptop or Smart Phones) to Aruba WLC and Aruba WLC will redirect End devices to external DHCP server to get IP and authenticate End devices through Captive portal to it's respective VLAN for authentication?
Scenario 2: Aruba AP are located in different locations on different VLANS (VLAN 300,301,302). Do I need to create end to end VLANS(VLAN300,VLAN301,VLAN302) on customer network ?
What is the traffic flow between AP and WLC before registration and after registration to WLC?

Airwave is an appliance solution that does not specify OS or DB, just the Airwave version.
There is no separate Airwave application, only appliance (virtual or hardware) which can be downloaded from Aruba Support Portal.

Yes, Airwave 8.3 will have continued support.
Primary reason is related to the move away from CentOS to RHEL. Aruba is making this move for several utilities.
Using 8.3 however is not an "update" process (due to OS change). You will have to boot new Airwave nodes and migration data [backup/restore]

We are running Airwave to monitor our APs and switches and have it linked to Clearpass. We are discussing going to Central, but it would not be until next year. Recently I was attempting to upgrade Airwave to version 8.2.15.0, and support steered me away from it, stating it was buggy. We are running 8.2.14.1, which according to Aruba's EOL page appears to be unsupported as of 4/30/23.
Is Airwave still supported at all?
