Question…. Is it possible to add an additional partition to our Airwave VM's and send files/logs to it?  It would need to be defined within the software to point to the new partition, but is it even possible?

We've had issues, and we've worked with TAC, to bring down the VAR over saturation, they did this by cleaning up some files and disabling VisualRF.  VisualRF is still disabled, but the VAR has filled up again with nightly backups and other logs.  We're curious if we can add more storage to the VM as a second partition.

If not, do we even need to collect the amount of data we have been?  We found over 12 billion bytes of data in our VAR folder, which pegged out at 100% and interrupted services, until we removed Nightly backup files and upgrade backup files... Up until today, no one ever mentioned the possibility of adding additional partitions, and off loading data to keep the VAR clear.

As AirWave is an appliance solution, there is no option to change the /var to other storage. If you deployed AirWave according to the AirWave Server Sizing Guide, the /var should not fill up. Best to work with TAC on your options and the reason behind disk filling up.
