Wireless Access

Here we go...I have a tx 1417cl and the same issue as everyone above. For the past 3 weeks, I've experienced my wireless card disappearing. What is sad is that I thought it to be an isolated issue, and simply decided to get a new notebook which happened to be an HP HDX 18t!!! In reading this thread I've lost confidence. Why wont HP recall this series if its been recognized in the dv series and an ongoing issue with the tx1000 since mid 2008!!!

HP will charge $400 to all who are willing to send the laptop back for out of warranty repair. I have the tx1000, 3 month after the warranty expired, so did my laptop.

The good news, this is a massive problem and many people are having the same issues you and I are having with HP. HP will have to address the issue.
