Hello will clearpass be able to detect profile conflict if I spoof the Mac address of Hp laptop with same OS to another Hp laptop with exactly same OS.

In this case device category will remain Computer so will there be a conflict ?

I think it all depends on the fingerprint. It could be that the 2 devices are using other fingerpints but both show up as a windows 10 computer.

The profile conflict is on basis of category only ? If this is the case , cppm fail to detect conflict
