I have a HP Pavillion a735w and installed Ubuntu. Since it is a Linux OS, the drivers from my XP won't work. Please, help me get it online.

Wrong forum? Maybe? As I recall I've seent the last dialup modem inquiry in page 2 of 98 of this "switches, hubs, modems" forum. The same for hubs.

I think Ubuntu did not exist as a distro back then :-)

    Hi Rose,

You are probably better off posting in the one of the Linux forums on this site.

This forum generally leans more towards HP's networking products and not networking within a Linux context.

    Good luck,
    Joel

Pavillion a735w has an Agere PCI SoftModem. You can use the instructions on http://www.heby.de/ltmodem to install it under Ubuntu.

    Good luck.
