Digital transformation is driving dramatic changes at the Edge. Emerging solutions in the operational workplace, driven both by new user experiences as well as IoT-driven business models, are compelling data processing at the Edge in completely new ways. Container-based applications for low-latency workloads like AI inference and high-volume data ingest are driving highly complex Edge compute requirements, which in turn are forcing a re-think of network security, segmentation, and topology. This session highlights what network engineers need to know about emerging Edge computing, and what will change as a result.
