  • 1.  MDC support on HPE 7500 & HPE 7900 possible ?.

    Can someone confirm if newer modular chassis like HPE 7900, 7500 series support multitenant device context (MDC) feature ?.

    Couldn't find any info on the product pages.

    Really? (answering my own question) Yes...for the HPE FlexNetwork 7500 Switch Series...at least by reading the HPE FlexNetwork 7500 Switch Series Virtual Technologies Configuration Guide (especially the "Configuring MDCs" chapter).

    Regarding the HPE FlexNetwork 7900 Switch Series that answer should be valid too.

    Not sure if the same is applicable to 7900 series.

    The weird thing is HP IRIS tool or website doesn't have this information on product info !!.

    Yep, but looking specifically the HPE FlexFabric 7900 Switch Series Comware 7.10 R2150 Release Notes, it's reported that, with the release of R2137 software version, new fundamental features were introduced and MDC is indeed listed among those ones (look at third row, MDC: All MDC commands were newly added, Chapter: MDC) on sheet 138 of 400.
