Are you referring to an Aruba (HP) 2620 48 PoE+ Switch with SKU J9627A?

If so can you kindly share the Software Version is running on now (RA.xx.xx.xxxx)? Perform a show flash and/or a show version at CLI and report back output(s).

Well, as you see, Software version RA.15.08.0009 is quite old (2012, so 5 Years ago)...at this point it's difficult to say what could be the root cause...if it was a bug (who knows which Software version solved that bug in the past) the only way is to (re)test using an updated Software version (RA.15.18 or RA.16.xx)...or, if you don't want to update your Switch software, the alternative route is to do diagnostic to try to understand which process (or processes) - service - is consuming that amount of Switch's memory.

Maybe a process is starving memory or leaking...what is the actual Switch's uptime? after a reboot - if possible - amounts of total (available) and used RAM are immediately the same as they are now or the ratio is completely different (more normal to have a used RAM low value if the Switch isn't doing fancy things)?
