  • 1.  mesh config and default gateway

    Hi all

    Is there an explanation why the mesh doesn't work if there is no default gateway in the IP config of the AP ?

    The AP can be attempting to figure out what mesh role to operate as based on IP connectivity.

    I feel DHCP would avoid this extra hassle. I don't feel static assignment is necessary or the best.

    @Kevin Rice : I did set up the AP through DHCP, but if DHCP does not give a default gateway, mesh does not come up.
