Hi all,

I am trying to figure out how to convert AP 315's to Aruba central. They are now running on a local controller. 

If I give the 315's a Aruba central license, and reset them, will they come online in Central? Or is there another way to do it?

no you need to convert the controller based AP-315 to instant AP. and then add it to your Aruba Central account.
