We are going to take over a mixed environment with Mac/win10 cIients and I have a question about authentication/security. Today we only run windows clients.

What should I go for, to authenticate both mac clients and win10 in same ssid? I'm not running clearpass. Only controller and Microsoft nps/radius.

Maybe someone have some tips for us?

What type of authentication does each set of devices do on the wireless today?

today we only run windows machines and 802.1x aginst microsoft nps with eap-tls to ensure only ad-computers can connect and we use enforce machine auth in controller.

Hope my explanation is ok? I'm looking for some best practice.

Mac OSX can authenticate with EAP-TLS.  The question would be how you would distribute user certificates to the macs in your environment.

Okey, so with EAP-TLS for both mac and windows machines should work best for us. We have airwatch today to handle ipads, so i will say Airwatch.
