  • 1.  Mixed PIM-SM and PIM-DM

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to set up ip multicast and my upstream multicast provider is using PIM-SM. The feed is connected to my 9308 and PIM-SM w/ MSDP is configured without any problems.

    However the 5308s in my network only supports PIM-DM. So it never receives the feed.

    Does anyone know how to solve the problem?

    Hello,

    You can add a igmp proxy to find the rendez vous point.

    Okej, do you know if the 9300 supports it?

    What about PMBR? Anyone know if that work?
