Hi everyone,
I am a newby of Aruba Central :p
I imported a VSF stack in Central (3 members). However, once the stack was imported into Central, I noticed that there was an issue with the stack ports of the 3rd member (link 1 = 3/1/49-3/1/50, not link 1 3/1/49 and link 2 3/1/50 :s).
I would like to know the exact procedure to properly reconfigure the stack links for this member in Central.
I thought of the following procedure :
# On the Conductor > Disconnect the stack from Central (aruba-central disable). Should I first remove the configuration-lockout central managed command from the configuration pushed by Central to this stack ??? ;
# Power off member 3 and physically unplug interfaces 3/1/49 and 3/1/50 on this member ;
# On the Conductor > Shutdown interfaces 3/1/49 and 3/1/50, then modify the links in the VSF configuration for member 3 ;
# On the Conductor > Reactivate interfaces 3/1/49 and 3/1/50 ;
# Power on member 3 and reset it to factory settings ;
# On member 3 > Reconfigure the VSF ports and renumber the member to 3. Reboot and reconnect the interfaces ;
# Modify the link configuration in Central with the correctly reconfigured links ;
# On the Conductor > Reconnect the stack to Central (aruba-central enable) and reapply the configuration-lockout central managed command if needed.
Is this the correct method, or is there a simpler and more reliable one ?
Thank you in advance for your help,
Christophe
