I had the joy of the motherboard leaving me exactly 25 days after my warranty.
And by the way, I also went through a hard drive, the quick buttons didnt work and the power button no longer worked. All in 13 months. Awful!
Before I knew better, I talked my dad into buying a later version of the DV's...and the hinge broke so he couldnt even open or close the laptop. Luckily for him, they recalled it and he just sent it in to get fixed.
