What is the LAN-to-WAN throughput of the MSM 720 & MSM 760?  In other words, can they saturate for instance a 100 Mbps ISP line? When we do Internet speed test on the MSM720 we never get more than 20 Mbps.  Is the aggregate throughput higher or is this the maximum?  According to the spec on the HP website the throughput of the MSM 720 is 8.9 Million pps.  Even with minimum size packets this translates to over 4 Gbps. True specmanship.

you should do line rate for MSM760 (1Gig) and at least 200Mbps for the MSM720 (depending on configuration (access-control or not) and direction of traffic. Also TCP vs UDP will factor in.

    hi

    what is your topology?

COMCAST connected directly to WAN/Internet network and your "client" doing the download on the LAN/Access Network?

are you doing this wired on the network or wireless using a client and an AP?

What is your VSC config? Are you using Bandwidth control or have the Firewall enabled? If you are wired then your probably going through the Default/First VSC.

Just to test, you can disable Use controller for: Access Control in your VSC, then go to Controller -> Public Access and Disable Access Control. then redo your throughput test. tell me if it works better

    thanks
