    Hi there,

    We have one MSM760 with 40 AP's and we want to make a WLAN with the Free Access option.

    Is it possible to have two WLAN's, one with the local authentication (login via the local website) and one with the free access option?

    Yes- just create 2 unique VSCs. (I'd recommend mapping each VSC to its own VLAN for security if one is free access).

     

    In the VSC settings, you can specify the authentication type (ie captive portal) and where the auth happens (at AP, or at Controller). You can set your free access VSC to "no authentication" if you want to allow access without any authentication or acceptable use agreement.
