    Hello community,

A customer would like to be able to communicate media technology via multicast via the H3C switches HPE 5520 HI. Does anyone have an example configuration for operating components from Audinate (Dante Audiostream) or Crestron (DM NVX Videostream)?

    Thanks in advance
    Frank

Hi, the only settings you should need for successfully having these types of devices on the network is IGMP.

On the edge switch this should just be a case of enabling it for each VLAN:

    vlan 111
     name av_vlan
     igmp-snooping enable

Querier is disabled by default which is important. This should only be on the SVI in most cases. So on the SVI enable this (if comware this would be with "igmp-snooping querier" in the vlan, in CX it is on the SVI).

For Some older Creston you may need to ensure the IGMP version set is correct as per the devices. We have it all set to version2 which is default for comware but not for other OSs.

It is critical that every switch on the broadcast domain has IGMP and the querier is in one place.
