HI,

in two new machine NBX V3001BRI just installed a few day have the same problem :

random lost the phone and the card on chassis and only with reboot return to function.

Release R6_0_63, this two machines replace two old NBX100, and restore the configuration.

Only error i can't explain and there is in two log of two machine is :

DBI    E In m_nRetrieveCustomCompressions, Invalid record  

Have you any idea?

Check the system at the time of the event by setting up a hyperterminal on the NBX and make sur eno issue son the basic V3001BRI . do a small i and make sure nothing is suspended . I have not heard of an issue like this in R6.0.63 code but it could be eithe rthe NBX or the Network .

Thats where I would start and make sure the NBX is up and running .....

Did you can explain the error?

Mow the nbx is another "crash" like the card and the phone show unknown on net set, like the similar machine in another customer.Also now have the equal error and also like this :

The MAC address is of the phone and in a logs there are more then this.

I suppose the LAN is not the problem, i have 3NS and not show problem on network, is simple network

The first one is an older error that states the NBX had an issue with the terminal group for the tel . No worries , older error that is resolve d. 

The error states  the mac address was put into the default terminal group .  some how it either did nto have a group assigned or had an issue with the group it belonged to .

The second one states that the NBX had an issue with one of the wav recorded files .  Nothing serious as we see these  form time to time .

OK, i understand all you say.

But now i don't know why the nbx not see the card and the phone, in my case i had an nbx100 and this one not have any problem, now i replace this nbx100 with v3001BRI and now have the problem.

This is the strange, the same configuration, same LAN but differnet machine and random i see on NetSet telephone with unknown status and card with unknown status.

I can connect with nbx and i reboot tha machine and after turn on online status.

Agreed but without troubleshooting at a minimum done, its hard to explain what may be the cause .

Yes i agreed with you.

But for me is very strange because in effect i change only a mac address and speed of connection about NBX.

Before had nbx100 now have v3001BRI, the same configuration, and have two customer with same problem.

Is not for example ARP, because two customer is only layer 2 lan telephony.
