Hi

I recently formatted my machine and installed the HP XP Sp1a version and the drivers from the HP CD.

I know experience the problem that there are still devices in "Device Manager" which are not identified. The other problem that experience is that my computer takes a very long time to actually connect to the network.

All assistance appreciated.

I may provide some assistance, if the following information is available:

1. the exact description of unidentified devices as shown in the device manager.

2. Which network are you referring to? For example : wireless network or wired network.

Let me know the present network adapter which is showing under network adapters in device manager.

Hi Werner,

See also the bottom of your laptop. It should reveal some information about your wireless device and the bleutooth device.
