  • 1.  NetEdit 2.1.1?

    Hey everyone,

    I'm looking through these latest updates and the recommended version of NetEdit for pushing these is 2.1.1, however, I can not find it posted, yet.





    I would ordinarily just go ahead with updates, but the footnote makes me think I should probably check in with someone that knows better first.  When is 2.1.1 going to post, or where can I grab it if it's posted already?
    Currently I have 2.1.0-rc.10, and I can't "upgrade" to 2.1.0 that's posted.



    I get the error that the upgrade isn't compatible.



    What's the ETA?  Will these switch upgrades go ok if I just go ahead with the current version?  (Why the difference and the note about it in the doc?)

    NetEdit 2.1.1 and Central 2.5.4 are not yet released.

    OK.  Is there a timeframe?  Or is there a problem if I go ahead with the older version?

    It's in all of the 10.08.0001 release notes.  Here's the 8325 version

    generally the mgmt software have some lag time.
    so you can go with the latest maintenance release of 10.07.xxx unless you are looking at using some of the new features of 10.08.

    Hi Philip, Aruba NetEdit 2.1.1 Release Notes are available here; software images for fresh installs or updates are still not available as of today...IMHO they are just around the corner.

    You can add switchs on netedit which are running 10.08 software.
    But you can't add 10.08 software file to netedit to update your switches through netedit.
