Many times, when checking the logs on the switches, you may be able to find what is preventing the switch from communicating. If you can't find it, contacting HPE Networking TAC may be a good next step.

No, we are using NetEdit 2.16 and the new switchversion is on the list of supported switch versions.
And this phenomen doesn't appear with all devices, only sometines and even different models (6100, 6200, 6300 are affected sometimes).

Could it be that your NetEdit does not support the version you upgraded your switches to?

Subject: NetEdit: After switch update by netedit, some devices are no longer reachable via NetEdit
Dear Airheads,
we are using NetEdit for scheduling softwarechanges for aruba CX switches.
In some cases, the device is no longer reachable at netedit, but I can connect via SSH, Webbrowser and the switch is working correctly.
I haven't found another way until now, as to delete the known device and to do a new disover for that specific switch. But then I loose the saved configuration from the past.
Is there another way to rediscover the no longer reachable deice, without loosing the past configurations?
Thanks for your help.
Best regards from Germany
Tobias
