Hey Everyone,

I am trying to install NetEdit in a lab for testing. During the initial login it attempted to install the netedit service but it failed to unbundle the tar file. I was able to untar the file into the /opt/ folder but I can't figure out how to re-initiate the install script.

Any ideas?

I still don't know what the issue is but I re-deployed the OVA on ESXi 6.7 and it works now. I originally deployed on 6.5.

I'll update this thread if I hear more from Aruba.

maybe still useful. The best workaround is to disable in hypervisor the network interface till that untar is done and enable it from teh point when you need to configure the IP in machines. That fixed the issue for me in every version even in 2.8. It does not happen every time, but without enabled network interface in the initial setup I never failed.
