we're setting up new APs 504 to be sent onsite and being added to an instant cluster.

We just need to make few configuration AP Name , Static IP and few other.

We powered up them, one by one in an isolated VLAN, and assigned the static IP and name.

Rebooted to have the IP applied, it is, and check reachability.

After a while without even rebooting the AP reverse to dhcp configuration.

    Are we missing anything ?

Did you modify configuration via GUI or CLI?

It should not revert back when config is committed via commit apply/write memory in CLI or save in GUI.

    I made it via GUI.
I've updated the firmware to the latest 8.12 and now "seems" to retain the configuration which was "odd" they could reset it before.

    thanks

    Hello,

Which version did you have before updating to the latest 8.12? To see if there are any bugs in that version.
