  • 1.  New Central - Changing AP Name

    Hello all,

We're trying to switch from Aruba Central Classic to the New Central and we've had trouble finding the option to change an AP Name. We can find it when toggling back to Central Classic, but are we missing where this setting is in the New Central? We've tried in the settings and adding a profile for a Hostname in System Information, but that did not change the Access Point name. Can someone help point me in the right direction, please?

    Thank you for your help!

It looks like the Hostname (inside System - System Information) did change the name. But it seemed to take a bit of time so I thought I did it wrong. But this looks like that was the answer.

that's correct, at the device level. "System Information" profile.

if you need bulk  renaming, you need to use Central Automation Studio for New Central that has a CSV workflow to renaming devices.
