    Hi Team

We are trying (have been for months) to plan an upgrade fron AOS8, with on premise controllers, to AOS10 on new hardware, all cloud based.

Central (classic?) fell short of been able to deliver what we required, so we have been battling with New Central - which has the flexibility; but we just cant make it work.

After following this guide - Getting Started - the SSID is not broadcasting... with the network disabled with the Reason of Disabled by SAPD Msg

    show network
    Networks
    --------
Profile Name  ESSID  Clients  Type      Band  Authentication Method  Key Management  IP Assignment  Status   Zone  Coding  Active  Disable Reason        Disable Timestamp    Max IPv4 Users  MBSSID Group
    ------------  -----  -------  ----      ----  ---------------------  --------------  -------------  ------   ----  ------  ------  --------------        -----------------    --------------  ------------
demo          demo   0        employee  all   MAC Address            WPA2-PSK-AES    From Gateway   Enabled  -     UTF-8   No      Disabled by SAPD Msg  2025-11-22 11:21:16  N/A             0

From New Central, if I look at the VLAN, I can see the vlan that the gateway is using is shown as down.

    show vlan status

    Vlan Status
    -----------
VlanId  IPAddress                    Adminstate  Operstate  PortCount  Nat Inside  Mode     Ports               AAA Profile  Option-82

    Any ideas or suggestions....

    Thanks

generally that error message indicates gateway cluster issue, but here are the three components that you have to assign
⦁    the gateway clustering profile to the device group where the gateway resides
⦁    the device function being mobility gateway, to the mobility gateway at  global level
⦁    the WLAN tunnel profile to the device group where the AP's reside (note that you need to configure the WLAN profiles in the library)

If my post was useful accept solution and/or give kudos.
Any opinions expressed here are solely my own and not necessarily that of HPE or Aruba.

Thanks.  I ended up removing the devices from Central, doing a erasing the config, and I do have it now passing traffic :)

However the gateway shows as having poor health - and how do I find the cause of the Gateway Tunnel Down error?

It also shows that vlans are down - however these are actually working and passing traffic

The final oddity is the configuration health, where it says Remove unsupported LCD setting - however there is NO LCD setting configured!

    Thanks
