    So my issue is that when I run the commad "show aaa authentication port-access interface 1/1/2 client-status " I am not getting any IPV4 information.
    Check the inpute below and the section I am looking for is bold:

    S0096SWT021# show aaa authentication port-access interface 1/1/2 client-status

    Client b8:6b:23:7e:46:ce, host/HPS28389-W7.cosd.co.san-diego.ca.us
    ============================

    Port : 1/1/2
    Session Time : 776s
    IPv4 Address :
    IPv6 Address :

    Status : dot1x Authenticated
    Auth Precedence : dot1x - Authenticated, mac-auth - Not attempted
    Authorization Details
    ----------------------
    Role : RADIUS_1986087471
    Status : Applied
    Client 3c:b1:5b:4d:0c:a0, 3cb15b4d0ca0
    ============================
    Session Details
    ---------------
    Port : 1/1/2
    Session Time : 747s
    IPv4 Address :
    IPv6 Address :
    Authentication Details
    ----------------------
    Status : mac-auth Authenticated

    Is there a way to fix this or to make it work?
    I am running the latest firmware which is Version : FL.10.06.0001

    Hi Ivan,

    How does the client get an IP?

    I think you need to run DHCP Snooping to get this information for clients using DHCP.
    For clients with a static IP you should look at the "client track ip" command.
