    Hi.

I have critical issue with my system, this is my 1st Unified wireless project.

    Summary of my solution.

    One SSID : Test

    4 vlans : vlan 100,200,300,400

all vlans bind to ssid Test.

common DHCP server with single pool.

Poblem : when I connect SSID-Test in vlan 100, DHCP successful. after I roam to vlan 200 it loss the connectivity, DHCP fail. I cannot roam between vlans.

    Please help..

    Hi,

    Please be aware of this:

"The WLAN Controller uses a client cache to support fast roaming and to make sure that roaming clients retain their authorization settings like VLAN assignment while roaming. A client cache entry is created for each wireless client after first association to the wireless network and kept until the client cache-timeout expires (180 seconds by default), even after the client disconnects from the wireless network.
If a client re-associates to the wireless network before the client cache-timer expires, it always gets the VLAN ID assigned from a previous association if a client cache match is found.
To disable this behavior the client cache aging-timer can be set to 0. This effectively disables the client cache and client entries are deleted directly after a client logs off. Be careful when disabling the client caching because it will influence client roaming performance."

Is it sounds as your issue?

    Br,
