Hey guys,

I have this problem i cant seem to figure out. I attached a network diagram to help

So here is my problem. Right now i have phone recording working only one way on recordings. it's the person that is calling get recordered but the other side of the phone is not. 

the setup is i have a hp 2910 that the phone are connected to via vlan tagged that gets plugged into a phone that is on vlan 1. the hp 5412zl has source ports for the trunks on hp 2910 then has a monitor port that points to the phone recorders. 

any thoughts on why this only recording one way possible? i can post configs if needed.

I don't know why you're seeing any of it - the RTP traffic should be going phone-to-phone and you should see none of it if you are monitoring the Server.

Maybe your phone system has a built-in function that causes the Dialler to send a duplicate stream of RTP to the PABX? Maybe it isn't the mirroport config that you need to be looking at?

which phone model are you using , You may need to open a case with the phone vendor. This does not seem to be a switch issue .
