OS and Boot ROM upgrade of 3Com Switches

  • 1.  OS and Boot ROM upgrade of 3Com Switches

    Hello,

     

    We have two 3Com switches. That is

     

    Sr.     Switch Name                      current OS and Boot ROM          

     

    1)  5500 G-El (3cr17255-91)     OS : 3.01.100s56        ROM: 310                      

    2)  4500 (3cr17562-91)              OS : 3.01.00s56p01   ROM: 1.01                    

     

    I would like to upgrade the OS and Boot ROM to latest available version. Can i directly upgrade to latest version or first earlier version and then latest.
