Hello does someone had an issue with PALOALTO VPN and CLEARPASS using CHAP authentication?

Info

Clearpass RADIUS servise for PALOALTO VPN

Authentication method: CHAP

Source : Active Directory

During authentication error 209 occur

Error Message: No password in request

RADIUS CHAP: Clear text password not available

I also add full  service configuration and source configuration.

Maybe it is not possible to authenticate user from PALOALTO in Clearpass (Active Directory) using CHAP authentication?

You cannot use CHAP with Active Directory as authentication source.There is no authentication mechanism in AD that supports RADIUS CHAP authentication, you need to use PAP or MSCHAP/v2 to get it working.
