    due to some problem i have reinstall the pcm,now when i am updating the license i am getting this (Error:lock ID mismatch,please verify that this key is licensed for use on this system.)
    previously the license is updated,after reinstalling pcm i am facing this problem.

    any one pls help me out in this.

    Hi Srin

    You will notice in my.procurve your install ID's does not match your current install id.

    : My server crashed and I had to replace the hardware. I tried to re-install the PCM software/license, but I get an error message stating, "the license is already in use or it exceeds the limit of one." How do I re-install the software after a hardware failure?
    The license key is locked to an Installation ID. The Installation Identifier is obtained after the original installation takes place. It is unique to each install and must be reset if there is a change from the original hardware. This requires a call to ProCurve Support for the engineer to release the Installation Identifier from the original hardware, which will allow new hardware to be attached to the Installation Identifier.

    Srini: As suggested above, logon to https://my.procurve.com/software/network/software.aspx

    And enter your "install ID" and "registeration ID" to get the license.

    the issue is solved by changing the installation ID.
