Hi Guys,
I have been experiancing the same issue with the PCM Remote Client. I have spent a few hours playing with it and come up with a Solution, it's a bit fidderly but it works.
1) Download the Client from the Server and Run The Installer
2) While the installer is running, open the 'TEMP' folder for your user account (Windows Key + R) and type %temp% locate the folder that has the following sub folders (normally a set of random numbers)
- Windows
- InstallerData
3) Copy this folder to your desktop or another location and then close the current installer that you have running.
4) Open the folder you just copied to your desktop and then open the Windows Fodler
5) Right click on the install.exe and select Properties
6) Go to the Compatbiliy tab and select 'Change Settings for All Users'
7) Tickt he box 'Run in compatability mode for' and select Windows 7
8) Select OK to all Windows
9) Right click on the Installer and select 'Run as Administrator'
The installation should now run without any issues.
