PCM Switch Update Confusion with SW Versions

    Hi,

    I am a little bit confused:

     

    I am using PCM Version 4.00

    I downloaded procurve_firmware.prp from ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/networking/software/4_0_firmware_prp/ (08/31/2012 12:00)which as far as I understand is the correct file for my version.

     

    For J9452A there is in the prp the latest firmware file refferenced: "K.14.54m_yl-zl-6600-3500-Software-K1454m.zip"

     

    From https://h10145.www1.hp.com/downloads/SoftwareReleases.aspx?ProductNumber=J9452A the newest version available ist already K.15.10.0009

     

    So something seems to be not up to date.

    Is there anybody out there to fix that?

     

    I have also J9264A and J9470A and J4899B but did not check that so far how the version mix is there.

    It's a bit older thread but...

     

    If the PRP file is not up to date, the only way to get it corrected is to open a case at HPN support.
