  • 1.  Port aggregation between H3C and 3Com Switches?

    Is it possible to aggregate ports between a H3C S5500-EI SFP switch and a 3Com 5500G-EI SFP switch?
    I have tried linking two aggregate static ports on each switch but with no success.

    Shouldnt be a problem. Can you post the relevant configurations?

    Attached the two config files.

    The 3Com 5500G_SFP_EI connect ok but the H3C complains and then loses connection, I then plug a link fibre back into a non aggregate port  to reconnect?

    The H3C S5500_24F_EI Aggregate ports are not configured properly?

    The H3C is configured with LACP dynamic and the 3Com is static. Change the 3com to dynamic, should work.

    Success, H3C dynamic and 3com Static with LACP enabled, I changed aggregated ports from 1&2 on H3C to 3&4. Ports 1&2 had been set up with IRF?

    Uhm, weird. I see no IRF in your configs? Also, on the 5500EI I'm pretty sure IRF is only available on the 10G ports.
