    Hello Everyone

Thank you for taking the time to help & view this post. In the last couple of weeks my devices have been alarming several ports coming online & offline several times a within seconds. The device is continuing to alarm every 2-3 seconds, has anyone else experienced this issue and if so, what was done to resolve this. I do not have teachers and students connecting and disconnecting devices this fast all day. I even sat in a classroom to verify it's not the end user connecting a device and removing it. Some ports are cisco VoIP phones, and when the alarm is pinging the phone still works and isn't rebooting like you think. I've never encountered an issue like this. It isn't isolated to one location and one switch it happening to several switches across my 6-campus district any help and insight is very much appreciated! Ive attached a screenshot off one of the switches alarts to show below!

Hi! Have you checked Switch logs (show logging -r or similar)? it could be STP (Spanning Tree Protocol) kicking in trying to protect the operation of your switch by involuntary/voluntary network loops (as example) caused by users on access ports. Is physical cabling OK? what changed in your network to justify what you are observing?
