AOS-CX Switch Simulator

I have a sneaking suspicion that port mirroring is unsupported in the EVE-NG implementation. Can anyone confirm?

The status message I saw was something to do with MTP already in use and I had no other mirror sessions configured. Sorry I don't have the specifics in front of me but I can reply later if someone is interested. 

Background: My production switches are 8100's and I need to use a destination tunnel to solve my problem.

If you are emulating Aruba CX switches using the Aruba Virtual Switching Extension (VSE) image, mirror sessions (especially those involving MTP or tunnel destinations) may not work. Even if the config is accepted, the backend (e.g., kernel/NIC emulation) often do not support packet replication or forwarding to a monitor session.
As a workaround option you might use ERSPAN.

Thanks for the helpful reply. I didn't realize that ERspan was a different thing! Perhaps I'm reading the wrong documentation..
