    How do I disable Spanning Tree on Port J7 on a HP Procurve ES412zl Switch?

    spanning-tree j7 bpdu-filter (in config mode).

    Also on the 5412zl switch, this command will act like the port-fast command you might remember on Cisco switches.

     

     spanning-tree j7 admin-edge-port
