Wireless Access

Hello,

For an organisation with multiple locations I'am re-organizing all profiles and settings from top to bottom in the Network hierarchy.
For the Guest network (which is provisioned through ClearPass) I created new AAA, L3-profiles, roles en so on.

Now I want to enable them for each location individually, whem I'am on-site and test it.
Unfortunately I ran into an issue where the authentication on the new VAP is not correct!
It states "Open" while I configured Captive Portal Auth.


I  also noticed that the "Primary usage" of the VAP is now "Employee" instead of "Guest"
And I cannot change it from the GUI cause its grayed out!


Does anybody now where I can find this setting in the "Profiles" so I can change it there?
Or is there a missing link between my Guest roles and AAA profiles?

There are a couple of layers here:
- The "Primary Usage" radio button is really just a driver for the initialization wizard/script. On its own it does not hold any configuration weight. 
- For Captive Portal, in most cases, "Open" is the correct Key method, as there are no encryption methods. This SSID is Layer 3 Auth only, no encryption (pretty standard for a true guest network.
- To access " Profiles" - In the Top right of MM/MC [Select Manage Network Folder] GUI click the downward carrot next to username > Preferences > Show Advanced Profiles. When in the WLAN GUI Context "Profiles" will now show in the upper right.
