  • 1.  Printing/Airplay issues with Bonjour and Airplay enabled on Instant Virtual Controller

    Hi,

    I have the following issue on my Aruba Instant Virtual Controller based network.

    If I enable Bonjour and Airplay services, I'm not able to print from IOS devices and Screensharing via Airplay works only to wired Devices (Samsung TV). Screensharing to wireless
    connected devices doesn't work.

    If Bonjour is disabled and only Airplay service is enabled, I'm able to print - but Screensharing doesn't works.

    My Environment:

    - The printers are wired connected to a Windows Server 2012R2 print server and are on the same subnet as the wireless devices (both VLAN 1)
    - The screensharing devices (Samsung TV) are wired and wireless connected and on the same subnet as the IOS devices (both VLAN 1)
    - Aruba OS Firmware Version is 8.6.0.4

    It seems like the issue is only between devices which are wireless connected - and in the same subnet??
    Does anyone have an idea why this behavior occurs?

    Thanks in advance!

    see if you have "Broadcast filtering" set to "disabled" for that WLAN configuration.

    its under the configurations->networks-> <your networks> ->show advance option-> "Broadcast/Multicast" section.

    Broadcast filtering is already set to disabled for that WLAN..

    Unfortunately disabling broadcast filtering does not solve the problem. Do you have any other suggestions?
