  • 1.  problem in portal cautive in -....... my first login

    I have created a captive portal between a mobility controller and Clearpass.
    When connecting the SSID of GUEST I put username and password and it stays there... ( the page https://cppm.zXXXas.com/tips/welcome.action is redirected)
     but it does not navigate.......
    until the WIFI is disconnected and reconnect again ........OK enters through the MAC Caching.......     and finally navigate
    in the Clearpass you see the ACCEPT I don't know why it doesn't pass that state.....

    Controller Version 5.0.4.5
    CPPM version 6.6.1.84044

    Hi, you could check these 2 things:
    1.- Vendor settings in the Guest configuration in clearpass (what do you have there now?)
    2.- That the Clerarpass and the Mobility have valid certificates and they trust eachother, if they can't stablished a secure session the login won't work.

    Please upgrade both your controller and ClearPass, as both are end of life for some time already, end of support and known to have vulnerabilities. I would not put this in production.

    Hello and thanks Herman,

    this devices are not in production enviroment, are my test devices,......
    but I have Full certificates in boot sides.... and still have the incident...
    I was restart default config.... to begin start ..... again... in my CPPM.

    My Vendor setting are controller Aruba Networks
