    Hey,

I have a problem with disconnections from AP Aruba 303, 305, and 505. The access points are connected to an HPE OfficeConnect1920S 24G 2SFP PoE+ 370W Switch JL385A

The switch is connected to an Aruba 7030 controller. A total of three HPE switches and 55 APs are connected to this controller. The problem does not occur with all APs, only with half of them, which are connected to two switches.

The general problem is related to the connection to the controller being lost for several seconds.

The devices then display the status "down."

After several seconds, the devices restart.

This problem appears in the logs as follows

This problem occurs intermittently. Sometimes it happens again after a few minutes, other times only after an hour.

So far, I have done the following:

    - uploaded new software to the controller,

    - uploaded new software to the switches

Additionally, I will include logs from the controller in the attachment.

Please help me, because I'm out of ideas on what to do in this situation.

Based on the logs, I would think the APs lose connectivity to the controller. Could be spanning-tree related, but my guess would be that the answer to your problem is in the switch logs.

This is strengthened by your observation that this happens only to APs connected to 2 out of the 3 switches. Some port would go down/up or errors are detected is my guess.

Troubleshooting such problems is easier with a partner or TAC when you have full access to the equipment, all logging, etc.

These are logs from one of the switches.

Spanning tree topology changes, and especially 'STP root bridge changes' are very likely to cause outages.

There seems to be some instability in your network that has to be found and removed. If you are sure that there are no loops, you may consider disabling STP completely.

I'd recommend to work with a specialist that can help you with this if you don't have the knowledge yourself.
