    Bonjour,

    J'ai suivi la doc Aruba pour mettre a jour un cluster de switch connectes via VSX, la commande est : vsx update-software tftp://IP-serveur/lien-image vrf default

    J'ai donc lancé la commande sur un des deux switch en VSX, depuis le primaire, l'image commence a etre telechargée et ensuite cela bloque. J'ai essayé avec 2 serveurs TFTP différents, meme souci et cela plante toujours a la meme progression... Voilà ce que j'ai sur le switch : 

     vsx update-software tftp://172.17.68.108/ArubaOS-CX_8360-8100_10_13_1005.swi vrf default

    This command will download and upgrade new software image version,
    both VSX primary and secondary systems, from 'LL.10.12.0006' to 'ArubaOS-CX.8360-8100.10.13.1005' installed
    in secondary bank on both devices, then reboot them in sequence.
    The VSX secondary will reboot first, followed by primary.
    Continue (y/n)? y
    Do you want to save the current configuration (y/n)? y
    The running configuration is saved to the startup configuration.

    VSX Primary Software Update Status     : Image download started
    VSX Secondary Software Update Status   : Image download started
    VSX ISL Status                         : Up

    je m'auto-repond , faut juste etre plus patient, c'est long....

    par contre, cela indique 

    Software update failed. Reboot failed on VSX primary.

    Il a pourtant bien mis a jour et redemarré le second switch du stack mais c'est comme si il n'avait pas attendu assez longtemps pour attendre le reboot. 30s apres son message d'erreur, le switch avait redemarré

    quoi comme serveur tftp ? 

    je te conseille plutot de passer par du SSH (SCP), c'est beaucoup plus rapide!

    tu peux aussi chargé directement l'image depuis l'interface web.

    Ok mais mon souci c'est vraiment que la commande ne fonctionne pas, cela n'attend pas assez de temps pour le reboot du switch et du coup il indique que c'est en failed

    J'ai essayé de me connecté avec WINSCP (SCP) mais cela ne fonctionne pas. Quand je rentre le mot de passe, j'ai un message d'erreur ensuite. Il y a quelque chose à faire ?

    Bonjour,

    C'est l'inverse ! il te faut un serveur SCP (une machine linux par exemple...), c'est le swich qui se connecte sur ton serveur (comme en tftp...)

    Étant donné que vous avez affaire à un VSX composé de deux Aruba CX 8360, essayez de changer le nom de fichier du logiciel d'application de ArubaOS-CX_8360-8100_10_13_1005.swi en ArubaOS-CX_8360_10_13_1005.swi puis exécutez la mise à jour du logiciel:

    vsx update-software tftp://172.17.68.108/ArubaOS-CX_8360_10_13_1005.swi vrf default

    same error, it doesn't work 

    I am connect on primary switch, i launch command : vsx update-software tftp://172.17.68.108/ArubaOS-CX_8100_10_13_1005.swi vrf default
    Download begin
    reboot the secondary
    VSX ISL Status -> Down (normal because of reboot)
    after few minutes : VSX ISL Status  -> UP (restart of switch)
    And just after that the UP -> Software update failed. Reboot failed on VSX primary.

    VSX Primary Software Update Status     : Waiting for VSX secondary to complete reboot
    VSX Primary Software Update Status     : Waiting for VSX secondary to complete reboot
    VSX Primary Software Update Status     : Waiting for VSX secondary to complete reboot
    VSX Primary Software Update Status     : Waiting for VSX secondary to complete reboot
    VSX Primary Software Update Status     : Waiting for VSX secondary to complete reboot
    VSX Primary Software Update Status     : Reboot failed
    VSX Secondary Software Update Status   : None

    tu as testé avec vsx update-software book-bank primary déjà ? (ou secondary suivant la ou il y a l'image)

    ton status vsx est ok ? show vsx status ?
